Claims Administrative Assistant

This position provides general administrative support to the Claims Department staff. It is expected that the person filling this position will be able to exercise independent judgment associated with administrative tasks as well as contribute ideas for workflow enhancements, including IT enhancements. This position reports to the VP – Claims and will receive general supervision from the Claims Attorneys in the department.

Minimum education requirement is an Associate Degree, with B.A. or B.S. preferred. Two years of administrative experience in a claims environment is preferred, although administrative support in a financial services industry will be considered for the right candidate. This job also requires proficiency in all Microsoft applications, including Outlook, Excel, Word, Power Point and Teams. Hybrid office environment with three days in-office and two days remote. Salary commensurate with experience.
