This is a newly created executive position for the entrepreneurial candidate looking to become a member of a $20M regional company offering unlimited potential.  You will focus on promoting brand awareness, market growth, and market strategy, by aligning our salespersons with our agency and individual division sales and marketing plans. You will implement and manage a sales cycle that drives preferred individuals and business targets to the salespersons of W3, including a system that monitors accountability and measures results. The position provides both strategic and operational expertise to the COO, Executive Committee and division managers on all sales-related matters including preferred products, insurance companies, digital marketing, traditional marketing, sales process management and CRM.

The candidate is expected to demonstrate excellent salesmanship and team leadership to successfully lead the development and delivery of the Agency sales and marketing plan of all divisions through:


∙  Engage in recruitment and selection processes for:

  • Small commercial salespersons;
  • Select Health salespersons;
  • Personal lines salespersons;
  • Interns for futures salespersons;
  • Life Insurance and Financial Planning salespersons;
  • Any other creative plans where talent can drive sales to new levels.

Marketing and Sales Process & Culture

∙  Understand and internalize the vision of leadership and use it to develop responsible, high impact marketing strategies that will result in increased financial sales for W3, including content marketing, campaigns, and analytics;

∙  Develop and implement comprehensive strategic marketing programs that will enhance W3's image and position within the marketplace and the general public;

∙  Maintain product marketing plans to establish/maintain strong competitive position through strategic and tactical identification of marketing opportunities;

∙  Develop and drive social media marketing and advertising strategies;

∙  Lead the development, maintenance, and distribution of all organizational marketing and communications activities and content, including print and electronic collateral such as newsletters, brochures, and the website;

∙  Identify and work with business partners and vendors as needed to accomplish goals;

∙  Design and validate new customer-centric solutions and capabilities that create differentiated value for the organization's portfolio;

∙  Understands customer and competitive environment, the brand's position today and likely position in the future;

∙  Makes sound trade-offs between alternative uses of resources;

∙  Develop strategies to promote an internal "Raving Fan" culture that reflects trust, teamwork and WWW's values.

Organizational Development

∙  Facilitate training for employees in areas of customer experience, team building, and effective communication.

Systems, Reporting and Analytics

∙  Develop and manage a CRM to manage salespersons activities and overall division/agency results. The following shall be measured: activity, pipeline, new sales, rounding opportunities;

∙  Analyze data, interpret results, and turn insights into actionable and measurable strategies.

Reward and Recognition

∙  Maintain a program that will foster a culture of referrals where employees are acknowledged and rewarded for their outstanding contribution;

∙  Ensure all employees are remunerated in accordance with legislative and contractual obligations.

Administrative Requirements

∙  Frequent travel may be required.  Must carry a minimum of $100,000/$300,000 Bodily Injury Liability and $50,000 Property Damage Limits on a personal auto policy.

∙  Other miscellaneous tasks.

Required Qualifications:

∙  Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Psychology, Sociology or related business field (Master's Degree preferred)

∙  At least 10 years of sales or marketing experience

∙  3+ years direct management experience of a team

Experience and Knowledge:

∙  Strong experience with CRM software

∙  Prior experience implementing CRM software

∙  Prior experience designing and delivering development initiatives

∙  Prior experience managing B2B and/or B2C programs

∙  Ability to convert strategy into deliverables

∙  Maintains a developed, external network for enhancing personal growth

∙  Project Management proficiency preferred

Work EnvironmentThis job operates in a professional office environment. The overall noise level in the work environment ranges from low to moderate.
